Lately, I've been obsessed with Oribe Après Beach spray. I've used it at fashion shows to add texture to dry hair but I've fallen in love with using it in this very specific setting with my own hair. Curly hair readers, this one’s for you.
I wash my hair about every 3 or 4 days right now but I sometimes rinse my hair on day two. I find that when my hair is kind of dirty and then gets wet, my curls stay somewhat compact and intertwine together which makes it less puffy, but I need to put some product on it so it won't frizz up as it dries. The trick is that by putting any product in it, I end up touching my curls and raking product through it, which in turns makes the curls loosen and get puffy again. Après Beach is perfect because since it's in aerosol form, I can just tilt my head to one side and spray it evenly all over my hair without having to work it in with my hands. I did this the other day and now have a go-to product for those second-day looks.
