I love soft waves, and the easiest way to get them is by curling your hair with an iron and then brushing through all the curls with a boar bristle brush. People are always a little hesitant to brush through their hair after curling it because they’re afraid their hair will go straight. But sometimes loosening your curls with a brush can create a really nice effect.
Note: always use hairspray before curling your hair to protect it from the heat and ensure your curls last as long as possible.

What about natural curls? Anyway to brush them out without the poof?
I'm with Marina. My hair is naturally curly/frizzy, so brushing it out is usually a big no-no.
I wouldn't normally brush curly hair but I do have a tutorial coming up that makes it work so stay tuned!
So...how much hairspray are we talking about? I lightly spritz it, and I don't know how much it's helping. I used to use more, but then it started building up really bad on my flat iron.
gorgeous. i will try this weekend.
i'm definitely going to try this out!
with the red lips too, great look.
Love the wavy curls
